Biography
Simon Radley is an accomplished consultant surgeon specialising in colorectal and general surgery. Graduating with Honours in Surgery from the University of Birmingham in 1985, he completed registrar training in the West Midlands and advanced training at St Mark's Hospital, London. He also gained international experience during an overseas fellowship at prestigious institutions, including the Mayo Clinic in America.
In 2002, Simon became a Consultant Surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, after serving as a Senior Lecturer in Surgery. He was instrumental in introducing laparoscopic colorectal surgery to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and BMI The Priory Hospital, improving patient outcomes.
A Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Simon has led initiatives such as Clinical Service Lead for Gastrointestinal Surgery and Colorectal Cancer Lead. His work often intersects with transplant surgery, reflecting his dedication to innovation and excellence in care.
