Dr Maurice Pye is a Consultant Cardiologist with over 20 years of experience at York Hospital, where he serves as Senior Cardiologist and Lead Clinician for Cardiology. Trained in General Medicine in Cardiff and Manchester, he completed his Cardiology training at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and St George’s Hospital, London, earning an MD with Distinction in 1992.

Dr Pye specialises in adult cardiology, including coronary and ischaemic heart disease, hypertension, cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure. His expertise covers angioplasty, stenting, pacemakers, and advanced cardiac imaging. Passionate about patient care, he tailors treatments to individual needs, combining evidence-based practice with the latest techniques.

A member of leading cardiovascular societies, Dr Pye also chairs the Yorkshire Regional Cardiology Consultant Group and the Resuscitation Committee. He maintains a private practice at Nuffield Hospital, delivering personalised care. ​

Professor Richard Anderson is a Consultant Cardiologist and the lead coronary and structural interventionist at the University Hospital of Wales. With 18 years of experience, he specialises in general and interventional cardiology, leading transcatheter aortic and mitral structural services. He is also the research lead for cardiovascular medicine in Wales and sits on the UK national committee for structural intervention.

Professor Anderson’s expertise includes atrial fibrillation, hypertension, aortic stenosis, transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), and mitral edge-to-edge repair. He offers face-to-face, video, and telephone consultations for accessible care.

After graduating from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, he trained in Cardiff and Swansea, with coronary intervention training in Southampton, Toulouse, and Newcastle. With a Doctorate in vascular function, his research focuses on coronary artery disease and innovative treatments.

Mr Zafar Maan is a highly skilled Consultant Urological Surgeon based in Colchester, serving as part of the expert team at Anglian Urology Associates. With extensive experience, he specialises in diagnosing and treating a wide range of urological conditions, including benign prostate enlargement, kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, haematuria, and both male and female urological concerns. He also has expertise in paediatric urology, prostate and testicular cancer diagnostics, vasectomy, and circumcision.

Having trained in Cambridge, London, and Essex, Mr Maan earned a Master’s in Urological Surgery from University College London and completed an advanced fellowship in Stone Surgery and Endourology at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London. He is the lead clinician for urinary stone disease at East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust and also serves as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University.

Mr Gerald Hackett is a highly respected consultant gynaecologist based in Cambridge, with over 25 years of experience. Renowned for his expertise, he specialises in managing menstrual disorders, fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, and menopause-related issues. Accredited by the British Menopause Society as a Specialist and Trainer, he leads the NHS Menopause Clinic in Cambridge, taking referrals from across the region.

Mr Hackett is skilled in minimally invasive procedures, including hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery, offering treatments such as endometrial ablation and other innovative approaches. As an active member of the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE), he stays at the forefront of advanced surgical techniques.

Miss Gauthaman has been an NHS Consultant in Obstetrics and Urogynaecology since 2015, with a broad background in general obstetrics and gynaecology gained in both India and the UK. Her expertise lies in urogynaecology and pelvic floor dysfunction, offering comprehensive care including surgical solutions for incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. She also specialises in advanced diagnostic techniques such as cystometry, ambulatory urodynamics, and videourodynamics.

Her clinical services include bladder treatments for painful bladder syndrome, cystoscopy, urodynamics, hysteroscopy for abnormal bleeding, diagnostic laparoscopy, and various open or laparoscopic surgeries, including vaginal hysterectomy and prolapse repair. Mr Neil Blewitt is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in upper limb surgery. Appointed to the North Bristol NHS Trust in 1995, he advanced arthroscopic and arthroplasty services at the Avon Orthopaedic Centre. His expertise includes shoulder and elbow replacement surgery and complex upper limb conditions.

Mr Blewitt focuses on shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist surgery, utilising advanced arthroscopic techniques. He performs rotator cuff repairs, sub-acromial decompression, elbow arthroscopy, and thumb CMCJ prosthetic arthroplasty. Additional expertise includes Dupuytren’s contracture surgery, carpal tunnel decompression, and trigger finger release.

Now based in Surrey, Mr Blewitt continues his private practice, offering expertise in transplant surgery for reconstructive trauma and upper limb procedures, ensuring optimal outcomes for his patients.
