Dr. Vikram D. Kekatpure, MS, MCh, Consultant Head and Neck Surgeon trained at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi. He has done his fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering cancer center, which is the premier cancer center in the world and Weill Medical College of Cornell University, New York, USA. He has served as faculty at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi. He is visiting fellow at Weill Medical College of Cornell University, New York, USA.

Dr Kekatpure has a keen interest in academic activities and research and has several publications in peer reviewed journals to his credit.

He has strong interests in translational research, with emphasis on early detection and prevention of cancer. His research is directed towards biomarker based risk stratification and development of personalized cancer therapies. This risk stratification helps personalize cancer treatment for improved survival and reduce treatment associated side effects.

Dr. Sharat Damodar is a Consultant Haematologist & heads the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. He has completed his MBBS, MD/DNB in General Medicine & DM in Clinical Haematology.

Dr B V Murali Mohan is currently working as Consultant Pulmonologist and Head of the departments of Internal Medicine and Pulmonology at Mazumdar Shaw Medical Center (MSMC) in Narayana Health City, Bangalore.

He was earlier Professor and Head of the Department of Medicine at Dr B R Ambedkar Medical College, Bangalore. After completing his MBBS and MD (General Medicine) at Bangalore Medical College, he took his MRCP (UK) from the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and post- MRCP training in Respiratory Medicine at Ninewells and Kings Cross Hospitals, Dundee, and at the Newcastle General Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Dr Mohan is especially interested in the areas of Asthma, COPD, Sleep Medicine and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). He has over 30 papers presented at various national and international conferences, and several papers in international journals. He is the joint author of a WHO manual (under print) on Tobacco cessation for Medical and Dental Professionals. He also heads the Nightingales Lifesaving Services, which has, to date, trained over 20000 persons in CPR in Bangalore.

Dr. Kenneth D’cruz Clinical Fellowship in Liver Transplantation and Hepatobiliary Surgeon at Narayana Hrudayalaya Mazumdar Shaw Cancer Center, Bangalore, India.

Dr Kumar is the Head of Division of Bariatric Medicine & Endocrinology at Narayana Hrudayalaya in Bangalore.

Dr. Dhaded Sanjaya Basavaraj Senior Consultant Cardiac Surgeon at Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bangalore.

Dr Rao is the Chief of the Heart and Lung Transplantation Programme at the Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital,Bangalore.

Dr. Rao, strongly believes that terminal heart failure, due to ischaemic cardiomyopathy and left ventricular aneurysms can be corrected by his favourite technique called DORs Procedure along with Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) operation, with excellent results and expert in Mitral Valve replacement and repair.

Dr Thimappa Hegde is the Director of the Narayana Institute of Neurosciences.

After training in Neurosurgery at the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore, he served as the faculty of NIMHANS and rose to the position of Additional Professor of Neurosurgery. He worked in NIMHANS for over 20 years during which he was instrumental in initiating Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery. He also did a fellowship in skull base surgery in Washington D.C.

Dr. Hegde has performed several thousand Neurosurgical procedures. He has authored 30 scientific publications in leading journals and has contributed chapters to a book on the history of neurosciences. Recognized by the Lions Club of Bangalore as an ‘Outstanding Citizen’, he visited USA and Canada on a special exchange program from the Rotary International. He was invited by the Vatican to speak at an International Meeting at the Vatican City and had a special audience with the POPE - His Holiness John Paul II.

Dr. Hegde's interests include Stereotactic and Functional surgery, Spinal surgery and fusions, Neurotrauma, Neuro-endoscopy and Neuro-oncology.
